Buddhafield Retreats 2009
Buddhafield retreats are camping events, held on various beautiful sites in the south-west of England.
They are a wonderful way to take a break from our everyday routines and have a fresh experience of ourselves, amidst stillness, beauty and harmonious community.
Previous experience is advisable for certain retreats. Those marked
‘Open’ are suitable for beginners, and those marked ‘Regulars’
suitable for those with some experience (6 months or more) of the mindfulness of breathing
and metta bhavana meditation practices. If you are in doubt of the best
retreat to choose please contact us before booking.
If you are on medication for a mental health problem, please contact us in advance to check that the retreat is suitable.
Space in a communal dome or bender is provided for retreatants who
do not have their own tent.
To avoid disruption to yourself and others, please come for the full retreat period.
Please note, no drugs or alcohol on retreat. And we're sorry, but we can't have dogs on site.
We are working to reduce our carbon footprint. Please consider coming by public transport, in which case we will pick you up from the nearest railway or bus station. If you are coming by car, offering a lift to others, with whom you may wish to share costs. We charge £10 for bringing a vehicle on the retreat site, which will go towards our permaculture and land projects including tree planting. To offer or receive a lift, please follow the liftshare link.
We are committed to providing affordable retreats for those with genuine need by charging on a donation basis.
We depend on your generosity to help us to continue to do this.
The three amounts are suggested donations at Normal / Low Wage / Concession rates. (This includes a non-negotiable deposit.) You are free to give more, or less.
Please support Buddhafield Retreats towards becoming fully self-financing by offering the Normal Rate if you can.
